First Day "Teaching"

Wow! What a great day I had today!
I found the school with no problems (except the pouring rain which later turned to hail) and I found my way home again.
The kids were absolutely fantastic. It was a grade 1/2 class. They do that a lot here actually. They have grade 1/2, grade 3/4 and grade 5/6 in many schools. The school was called Carlton Gardens and it was beautiful. The staff was also very friendly. My goodness, you should see the playground they have for the kids. It includes a jungle gym, garden, soccer field and lots of other things like an equipment shed and a covered area to chill in if it's raining. BEAUTIFUL! We've been gypped in Montreal let me tell you! It was closer to the school yard of the private school I taught at in the Dom. Rep.
Best part of the day? I barely had to do anything! hahah I had a student teacher and she was taking over the class for the day. Can you believe it? I got paid to supervise a student teacher! I actually got a little bored and would have liked to teach but that will come I'm sure. I'm going to call the agency as soon as I leave the library and see if they have work for me on Monday.
I also replied to a few ads for people seeking roommates and got two replies. I am probably going to go check out both places on Sunday. One is cheap with awesome people, the other is a freaking beautiful townhouse for $200 a week. BUT beautiful. here I will post the links for both and you can let me know what you think.
